MICAS is delighted to present the MICAS in Conversation series as part of its program-ming vision towards fostering new ideas and experiences promoting contemporary art.

For the MICAS in Conversation series, art critic and curator Rajesh Punj interviews a selection of Maltese and international artists on the involving effect of space on their art practice against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic and its implications.

You can watch these conversations on the newly launched online platform: the MICAS Channel. The MICAS Channel establishes a platform for creative dialogue with both the national and international art community. It presents opportunities for viewers to engage with art-related talks, discussions, interviews, virtual tours and more.

MICAS is a Government of Malta infrastructural legacy project for the Culture and the Arts sector. MICAS will be realised through the state-funded restoration of historical fortifications and is an EU co-funded project that will deliver the MICAS internal galleries through the European Regional Development Fund in 2022.
